2010 – The Year of Creating Joy

Can you feel it?
There is a clear distinction
between the energy of 2009 and the energy of 2010.
2010 feels soooo much
brighter, livelier and even [dare I say it?] adventurous…
A New Year can be identified
in through the types of energies or vibrations under which we
all will be experiencing our journey. By becoming aware of the
influence and tendencies these energies are encouraging within
us, we can be prepared for various events and, like the student
who has prepared for an examination, we are able to respond to
our "tests" and opportunities in a more effective and less
effort-full manner.
The two thousand millennium,
that is, the thousand-year span when each year begins with a 2,
has a basic concern with balance, harmony and, additionally,
with understanding and relating to the Other. The Other may be a
person, a viewpoint or opinion but always the concern is not
only "How does this affect me?" but also "How does this affect
the Not-Me [Other Person, Other Situation, Other Environment, et
cetera]?
This is meant to encourage one
toward the global and humanitarian outlook that is a hallmark of
the Age of Aquarius. It should be noted that Aquarius, the
eleventh sign and house, is the higher vibration of the Two. You
will experience a growing need for balance in all things; a time
for busy-ness; a time for rest; a time for work and a time for
play-full-ness.
Be aware also, that situations
and people who are out of balance will be brought to you to
mirror any inner imbalance you may be trying to ignore. Rather
than reacting [negatively or otherwise] to them, it is
recommended that you look within to see what dis-harmony in your
Inner Self, your thoughts or your Spirit has attracted them to
you. Then deal with the inner situation so that you may bless
and release the outer experience.
Following the number Two is a
Zero. The Zero is that quiet, patient yet nurturing space
wherein creativity and dynamic growth can occur. This is the
place of innocent accomplishment — where we can go in our
imaginations, our visualizations and explore the visions we
would like to manifest. This is the numerological Odin Stone of
runic lore. Empty, it awaits full-fill-ment; unmarked, it
invites potential without limiting how or what the gift might
be.
Be aware that there may be a
tendency to put matters off because you wish them to be exactly
perfect. The unlimited potential of the Zeros will allow for
polishing, re-working and re-doing what you have set in motion,
but it has no patience with procrastination.
The One symbolizes new
beginnings; new opportunities; and the focus to face challenges
in an energized and uplifted manner. This vibration also gives
you the chance to take the lead in those matters that are of the
greatest importance to you. For example, if your health is an
issue, you are being given the ability and the strength [of mind
and heart] to be closely involved in the management of your
state of health. Because the major energy of 2010 is creativity,
you are also encouraged to look at "outside the box" options and
information.
Creativity always involves the
heart and the innate joyousness of 2010 brings an exhilaration
and enthusiasm from which you can initiate, develop and
thoroughly enjoy the conception and manifestation of heart-felt
events, circumstances and situations.
Creativity is a matter of
making choices: shall I paint or draw; shall I make raspberry
bars instead of the lemon bars I always make; shall I continue
in my usual thought patterns and results or shall I create new
empowering thoughts resulting in new and different outcomes …?
Originality.
Ingenuity.
Resourcefulness.
Fun.
Laughter.
2010 offers them all and much
more. This year it is more important that ever to choose the
thoughts, emotions and activities that support your being happy.
Whatever makes you happy; whatever brings you joy – 2010 is with
you to design this and incorporate it into your life.
So feel the lightness; revel
in the background hum of Life’s song; catch yourself smiling –
no reason necessary – just enjoy. And give yourself repeated
chances to hunt down your de-Light in Life.

2009 - The
Master Year of Creation

Nothing has to be the same. Nothing.
Can you feel the freedom that this thought gives you?
In 2009, we have the opportunity to release
the ways we once enjoyed life but which now feel more like
obligations. When one accepts the role of mastery, they also
accept that they can live their lives their way. Each of you was
once taught the style of handwriting called cursive writing.
Over the years, as you became more proficient in handwriting,
the formation of the letters became more personal and less true
to what you were taught. You made the knowledge your own.
So it is with the way you live your life –
you have the freedom to do it in your own fashion, according to
your own instincts. When a tradition loses its joy, it is saying
to you, “Let me go.”
Every experience, situation, or belief you
have wants to be a benefit to you; a gift, an encouragement, a
healing and when it no longer serves you, it wants the freedom
to go with ease and grace. Any of those experiences or
circumstances you judge to be negative are only trying to tell
you there is a miscommunication here – a misunderstanding, a
lack of love.
This is a year of being a Master. And a
Master lives life with an open hand neither judging results nor
withholding love. A Master can be extravagant in sharing the
qualities and abilities s/he has mastered; a Master can be
generous without the need to be acknowledged, yet accepting
appreciation when it is offered.
A Master living a year such as this one,
takes advantage of the energies to polish the matters in which
his/her mastery lies while being open to new experiences, new
modalities, and new opportunities to extend mastery. 2009 opens
us to daring to be different – if you could imagine yourself
different than you were yesterday, last week or last year, what
would that look and feel like?
2009 gives us vibratory permission to let go
of who we once were so who we want to become can be born. Who
would you be if you acted on this permission?
Pygmalion once created a statue that was so
beautiful he fell hopelessly in love with it. Pining away, he
pleaded with the gods to bring her to life so he could love her
fully. His petition was answered and they lived a great love.
You are the Pygmalion – the creator – of your
own beautiful work of art but you are the only one who can bring
that work of art to life.
Will you give life to the Wonderful One only
you can be? – That is what this year challenges and invites you
to do…

MY
WONDERFUL LIFE AS A CHANNEL

Alex Anderson,
the meditation circle leader, said, “There is someone here who
wishes to address the group.” A few moments and a few deep
breaths later and the course of my life was irrevocably changed
as Alex channelled his guide. It was the first time I had seen
channelling – before I even knew the word to describe what I was
seeing – and I knew with a clarity that is still hard to convey
that this was what I wanted to do with my life.
Over the course
of a year sitting in development with Alex, I became part of a
group of good friends who spent many weekend evenings “playing”
with the skills we were learning. When Alex’s guide, Asa,
announced that he would be working with some of us more
directly, we were very excited. A few days later, as we
practiced together, I felt Asa’s familiar energy slide around me
and I heard his voice in my head announcing himself as he always
did to the group. I was shocked and very uncertain. Could this
really be happening or was this my ego wanting it so much? I
pulled myself upward toward consciousness and asked my friend,
Hanne, to tell me what she saw. When she began describing what I

The Light at the
End of the Tunnel

given into the world to be an exercise, a meditation, a prayer
to inspire within you the movement from uncertainty and
unhappiness to that of
Calm
From which
place you can more easily and peace-fully move into your next
step on your Path.
Seek out, if you
can, a gentle Friend [physical or angelic] whose Love for you
enables you to trust that their listening and encouragement -
freely given without strings - is their gift to your Joy in
life.
Share your
insecurity and your fear without judgement of yourself or your
Friend. Cry and rant as you need to while you listen in
awareness to your words - the underlying symbolism will surface.
Tell your Friend of your insights and listen respect-fully to
those of your Friend. Together you can come to that place of
calm from whence your healing can proceed into your
circumstances...
As you prepare
for this meditation/prayer, breathe deep into your belly, taking
in all the healing Golden Light energy of the Highest Pure
Source. Breathe to your heart, pause, and exhale down through
your feet, grounding this Light throughout your entire body.
